Safe management of the waste that can't be overlooked

Safe and responsible management of hazardous, clinical, and biohazardous waste is a critical part of protecting community and environmental health. WMRR’s Biohazard Waste Industry (BWI) division was formed in 1994 to develop and promote consistent best-practice standards for biohazardous waste management. WMRR also advocates nationally for stronger frameworks around PFAS, legacy waste streams, embedded batteries, and other problematic materials that require urgent regulatory attention.
