$880.00 – $1,130.00Join us in Sydney on Wednesday, 4 November 2026 for Waste & Resource Recovery (WARR) Foundations – WMRR’s new, one-day training program developed in partnership with Blue Environment, designed to build essential knowledge across Australia’s waste and resource recovery sector.
This practical and engaging training has been developed to align with WMRR’s systems-based vision for the industry. It provides a clear and accessible introduction to:
- Core circular economy principles
- The waste management hierarchy
- How supply chains and procurement decisions influence material outcomes
- The role of product design, material choices, and recycled content in reducing reliance on virgin resources and lowering emissions
- The policy, regulatory, and legislative landscape across all three levels of government
This course is ideal for:
- New entrants to the WARR sector
- Professionals engaging with the industry
- Anyone seeking a clearer, consistent understanding of how the system works
By combining foundational theory with practical, real-world examples, participants will:
- Develop a shared language and understanding of the sector
- Build confidence navigating regulatory and policy frameworks
- Gain insights to support the transition to a circular, resource-efficient economy
- Understand how industry practices contribute to net zero outcomes
Participants will also receive supporting materials, including presentation content and training resources.
Following a successful pilot in Melbourne, and some positive feedback from a session held Perth last month, we’re thrilled to be brining this course to Sydney, with plans to roll the program out across the remaining states in 2027.
Places are strictly limited so get it quick to avoid missing out.
Please contact the national office on (02) 8746 5000 or email info@wmrr.asn.au for enquiries.
