Sophie Degagny

Associate Director, KPMG

Sophie is an Associate Director in KPMG’s Sustainability Services team. She has over 12 years of experience in the areas of circular economy, environmental policy and waste management strategy and implementation. Sophie brings a wide range of experience in circular economy strategy, waste recycling and recovery, delivering large scale projects, developing new business models, and cost modelling. Sophie is particularly interested in supporting governments and businesses to move toward a circular business model and see how policy and regulations can support and accelerate this move.

Kat Heinrich

Director, Rawtec

Kat is a director and associate consultant at Rawtec. She is the recipient of the 2017 Green Industries SA Women in Circular Economy Leadership Award. Kat has a qualification in economics. She has worked with governments and organisations, and participated in national and international forums, on measuring the circular economy. Kat led the development of Victoria’s circular economy metrics (CE) framework – which is the first of its kind in Australia, providing a robust and comprehensive methodology for CE metrics.

Jacob Potter

Associate, dsquared Consulting

Jacob specialises in strategic sustainability planning and has worked on major projects including the development of carbon positive plans, regional sustainability plans and precinct master plans. He has experience in both the public and private sectors and has supported the design and construction of buildings and precincts across Australia.

With experience in sustainable design, emissions reduction, electric vehicle transitions, sustainability policy, environmental management and waste minimisation, and as a Green Star and WELL Accredited Professional, Jacob can support projects both large and small.
