QLD Women of WARR Leadership Breakfast

The Waste Management & Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) invites you to our much-loved annual QLD Women of WARR Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, 17 July 2025 at Customs House. This event is designed to celebrate women in our industry who are driving change, and in doing so, breaking down barriers and creating new career prospects for the next generation.

 

 

 

AGENDA

Registration opens at 7:00am.

Official proceedings get underway at 7:50am with a welcome and introduction by WMRR CEO, Gayle Sloan.  The event will formally wrap up at 9:30am.


SPEAKERS

Our three (3) inspirational speakers will share their personal leadership journeys and the lessons they've learned along the way:

  • Christine Blanchard - Manager Environment and Resource Recovery, Gympie Regional Council
  • Sarah Collins - Resource Recovery Manager, REMONDIS Australia
  • Patricia O'Callaghan - Director-General, Department of Environment, Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI)
