Stan Krpan - a true WARR leader

The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) thanks former Sustainability Victoria CEO, Stan Krpan, for eight years of outstanding leadership and contribution to Victoria’s essential waste and resource recovery industry.

Mr Krpan has stepped down as CEO of Sustainability Victoria to take up the position of Solar Victoria’s inaugural CEO.

Under Mr Krpan’s leadership, Sustainability Victoria launched the State’s first state-wide infrastructure plan, TAKE2 – the world’s first government-led climate pledge program, as well as number of initiatives to deliver the government’s net zero carbon target by 2050.

“As CEO of Sustainability Victoria, Stan was a champion of our sector, developing programs and driving policy aimed at growing in investment in waste and resource recovery infrastructure and market development,” WMRR CEO, Ms Gayle Sloan, said.

“Sustainability Victoria has grown from strength to strength under his leadership and industry thanks him for his passion and commitment to the sector. We wish him the best at Solar Victoria and look forward to continuing our close collaboration and partnership with SV led by interim CEO, Carl Muller.”
