Recovery Manager, Recovery and Resilience
Department of Primary Industries and Regions 

Justine is the Recovery Manager for the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA), leading disaster recovery programs that support farmers and regional communities. Based at Naracoorte, South Australia, Justine has a background in natural resource management, program development, management and delivery, emergency management and community engagement. Justine manages the PIRSA FaB Mentor team that provides outreach services to farmers and is also involved in state preparedness activities for the threat of foot and mouth disease. Justine has most recently managed the 2021 spring hail storm recovery program that has included a large and complex disaster waste removal program on the Northern Adelaide Plains. 

Marina Wagner

Principal Consultant, Sustainable Solutions

Marina is the Principal Consultant of Sustainable Solutions and has worked with clients in local and state government and the commercial sector on projects in waste and resources management, disaster waste management, workplace health and safety and business risk planning.

As a graduate of the Governor’s Leadership Program and a Fellow of the International LEAD Programme, Marina actively participates in creating and sustaining a global network of leaders who are committed to promote change towards economic developments that are environmentally sustainable and socially equitable and with a strong focus on rural and remote communities.

Michaela Heinson

Associate Director, Economic Growth and Sustainability,

Michaela is the Associate Director, Economic Growth and Sustainability with Green Industries SA.  She has two decades of experience leading sustainability, environmental and biosecurity programs, including leadership for projects, policy reforms and emergency management at senior levels of government.
