BEN FOURNIOTIS

General Manager, Government Relations, Communications, and Public Affairs, Visy

Ben joined Visy in 2020 and is the General Manager of Government Relations, Communications, and Public Affairs.

Ben worked with Visy through the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the delivery of critical essential services, from kerbside recycling processing to keeping supermarket shelves stocked as a key supplier of food and beverage packaging. 

Overseeing the corporate affairs functions across Australia and New Zealand, Ben works on policy development and advocacy, with a focus on actualising Visy’s $2 billion investment pledge in Australian recycling and manufacturing over the next decade. 

Prior to his role at Visy, Ben worked across policy, strategic communication and media roles in state and federal governments and departments.

Ben has a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
