Stephen has over 25 years’ experience in natural resource and environment management in the Asia-Pacific Region, including the sustainable/responsible management and use of land, forest, quarry, marine and waste resources. Since July 2022 Stephen has been assisting NRE Tas with the development and implementation of a business system, including policies, procedures and guidance documents, to support the operation of the Waste Resource and Recovery Act 2022, which commenced in Tasmania on 1 July 2022. In this capacity Stephen currently supports 13 landfill facilities and 11 resource recovery facilities operating across the north of Tasmania.
