Amal has worked in lead engineering, project management, and project development roles for over 20 years in large-scale industrial processing facilities, spanning all phases of project development, from front-end engineering and detail design to start-up and operation. Today, Amal is responsible for leading the development of various energy-from-waste projects in the Oceania market for Kanadevia Inova.

David Harridge

APAC Technical Director WTE, Bioenergy and CHP, Jacobs

David’s first WTE operational role commenced in the UK in 2004, following ten years in operational and consulting roles in the Queensland powergen sector.  He moved on to UK based technical consulting roles focused on supporting developers, councils and utilities develop, procure and deliver WTE, biomass and biogas projects. Now Australian based at Jacobs, he is APAC Technical Director for those technologies and sectors.  In recent years, David has played technical leadership roles in the Client or Owner’s team for East Rockingham, REMONDIS SEMAWP, Prospect Hill International and Maryvale EfW.

Filippo Molinari

Senior Associate WTE Engineer and Project Manager, Jacobs

Filippo has spent his professional career in working in Italy, UAE, Malaysia and Australia including senior roles with leading international providers of process systems, engineering, project management and construction services in energy and O&G, conventional and renewable power generation, desalination and water treatment, and EfW.  During his prior tenure as General Manager of Borsig Boiler Systems in Malaysia from 2014 to 2022, he delivered two of Malaysia’s first WTE projects and has a particularly strong background in the boiler package which is critical package for any EfW project.

Brenden has successfully delivered numerous complex projects in varying sectors including health, research, education and stadiums, including national award winning projects Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), Gold Coast Aquatic Centre and the BGS STEAM project.
