Dr Richard Kirkman is CEO and Managing Director of Veolia ANZ, leading a 7,000-strong, $3.5bn business delivering innovative environmental solutions across water, waste and energy throughout Australia and New Zealand. A world-leading expert in ecological transformation and circular economy implementation, Kirkman brings nearly three decades of global leadership experience, having driven innovation in environmental solutions and infrastructure development across international markets. As an engineer with a doctorate in Infrastructure for the Circular Economy, he believes in bold action for improving the health of both people and our planet. Under his leadership, Veolia has established itself as a key partner for complex infrastructure projects, while shaping policy discussions in the sustainability sector.
