Maryvale Energy from Waste


The Maryvale Energy from Waste facility is being developed by a consortium of Opal Australian Paper, SUEZ Recycling & Recovery and Masdar Tribe Australia.  Scheduled for completion in 2025, the Maryvale Energy from Waste facility will process up to 325,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, providing renewable energy to the adjacent Opal Australian Paper Maryvale Mill, supporting the circular economy and delivering sustainable, economic, social and environmental benefits to Gippsland and Victoria.
