Principal Engineer - Materials Handling, Fenner Conveyors

Mike has over 3 decades experience in the mining and materials handling industries across engineering, project delivery, contract services, asset management, and technical leadership. His career has included senior operational and engineering roles, leadership of national contract service operations, APAC engineering responsibility for conveyor equipment and surface mining products, and engineering management with an Australian conveyor component manufacturer.

Since joining Fenner Conveyors in 2020, Mike has held senior engineering and commercial leadership positions and now serves as Principal Engineer – Materials Handling, supporting some of Australia's largest iron ore conveyor operations across Fenner’s nation-spanning footprint.

David Daminato

Circular Economy Specialist, SA Water

David is the Circular Economy Specialist at SA Water, bringing over 20 years’ experience in water quality, environmental regulation and waste management. His role focuses on identifying and advancing opportunities to embed circular economy practices across SA Water, with particular emphasis on asset design, procurement and waste management. Developing more sustainable approaches to PVC pipe waste is a recognised priority, supporting organisational zero waste goals and broader sustainability ambitions. This work aligns operational performance with environmental outcomes, regulatory expectations, stakeholder confidence, innovation objectives, long term resilience, and resource stewardship.
