Jim Fairweather

Jim has had a distinguished career in recycling and waste management, having spent over 11 years in the resource recovery sector. Prior to joining ResourceCo, he worked across several different industrial and manufacturing sectors including disposable packaging, health and fast-moving consumer goods. Jim is active in industry associations and is currently serving as president of the Australian Council of Recyclers (ACOR) and the Australian Tyre Recyclers Association (ATRA).

Garth Lamb

Chief Development Officer, Re.Group

In 2014 Garth joined an innovative startup called Re.Group, which has now grown to employ 1,000 people across the largest network of recycling facilities in Australia. Prior to life as Chief Development Officer for Re.Group, Garth headed up Australia’s leading team of strategic waste advisors at Hyder Consulting (now Arcadis), and before that was Editor of Inside Waste magazine. He also has two wonderful daughters, was once a NSW and National WMRR President, and is a current Director of WMRR.
