In October, the WA government released a discussion paper outlining its plans to modernise environmental protection legislation. To ensure that the waste and resource recovery industry is prepared for the forthcoming changes, the WA Branch of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) is hosting an EP Act Forum on Wednesday, 4 December 2019 at Norton Rose Fulbright in Perth.

She has played an integral role in managing the state’s responses to climate change, waste management, environmental offsets and native vegetation management. Rebecca Hoare possesses 20 years’ legal experience and is Norton Rose Fulbright Australia’s head of environment and planning. Rebecca practises in Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory, advising clients on environmental, planning, climate change, carbon farming and carbon pricing, native title, and Aboriginal cultural heritage law.
