WMRR members are also invited to attend the branch meeting being held prior to drinks, from 4:00-5:00pm. Here you'll have the opportunity to meet the WA Branch as they wrap-up 2022 and discuss plans for 2023.
Following the branch meeting we're looking forward to hearing from our incredible guest speakers, and winners of the 2022 WasteSorted Award winners, Gordon Bateup from Bateup Consulting (Waste Champion) and Libby Eustance from WMRC and Jared Crowe from RRG (Category Winners). Their presentations will be followed by a live demonstration of the award-winning GREAT Games and Christmas drinks. Gordon has a strong focus in project management, workplace, learning space and aged care space. He has a passion from sustainability and is the founder of GreenChair.
Complementing his technical skills is an understanding of risk, procurement, integration and cost management, Gordon has over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sector in new construction and fitout projects.
With an international perspective on construction and fitout project management, along with a wealth of experience in managing key projects in Western Australia, Gordon brings a dynamic approach to the industry. Providing skills within PMO’s (Project Management Offices), Program Management and work place and space strategy.

Libby leads the Communications and Education team at the Western Metropolitan Regional Council (WMRC) in WA, which forms a central part of its service to its Member Councils. In her time at WMRC she has led the remodelling of the waste education and communications activities undertaken by the team. The positive results arising from a broader interaction with residents are beginning to show.
