SA EPA Energy from Waste Webinar
The SA Branch of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) invites members to join them for a live webinar with the EPA to discuss their newly released thermal energy from waste (EfW) position statement.
The statement, which can be downloaded

, outlines how the EPA will consider and assess future thermal EfW proposals and provides the industry with a set of guidelines to enable the sector to proceed with confidence in submitting proposals for new facilities in South Australia.
At the webinar, which will be held on 29 April 2020 from 10-11a.m. ACST, you'll hear from
EPA SA chief executive, Tony Circelli
, and
Brian White, SA EPA's senior environment protection officer - waste reform projects.
This webinar is free for 2020 financial WMRR members only. Members who were financial in 2019 will be asked to renew their 2020 membership to be able to participate in this event.
