ABOUT THE BUY RECYCLED EXPO SA
WMRR and Green Industries SA will be hosting its second Buy Recycled Expo SA from 8-9 November 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
With export bans now firmly in place, the importance of growing strong local markets for products made from recycled materials such as plastics, paper and cardboard, glass, scrap metals, textiles and tyres, is greater than ever.
One of the current challenges facing councils and organisations who procure products is understanding what’s available in the Australian market. The expo will bring together those that are already creating quality goods using recycled content with those in government and industry who are wanting to understand not only what’s available right now, but what's possible for future projects.
The expo is a unique opportunity for procurement professionals, project managers, engineers and re-manufacturers to see first-hand the products on show, and discuss how they meet specifications.

Do you manufacture products using Australian recycled material? Want the opportunity to showcase those products to key decision makers in government and industry?. Then we want to hear from you.
Along with the SA government, we want to be able to show the array of products that are currently available from recyclate, and work to increase demand for them through every means possible, be it procurement, prioitising in project specifications, tendering and general awareness raising as to what is (or can be) made with recycled materials, right here in Australia.

A striking landmark on Adelaide’s Riverbank, the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) is one of the world’s most modern, flexible and technologically advanced venues. Fifteen minutes’ drive from Adelaide Airport and a stone’s throw from South Australia’s famed tourist regions, the ACC combines state-of-the-art facilities with creative menus and innovative event technologies. As a socially responsible and sustainable venue it's the perfect place to host the Buy Recycled Expo SA.

The 2022 Buy Recycled Expo is being held in Halls MN, located on the ground level of the western side of the ACC. The nearest entrance is the West Entrance on Montefore Rd. For a detailed venue map please click here.
