NSW FOGO Breakfast Workshop

NSW FOGO Breakfast Workshop
The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia’s NSW Branch would like to invite you to a members-only Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) workshop on 3 April 2019 in Sydney.
The workshop presents members with an opportunity to discuss the current trends, issues, gaps, and opportunities that FOGO presents against the backdrop of NSW's current resource recovery landscape.

Speakers include MRA Consulting Group’s Ron Wainberg, Re.Group’s Pat Keating, and NSW EPA's Kathy Giunta who will present on the AWT and FOGO issues of today.

A panel discussion will follow, which will include Blacktown City Council's Nicole Greenwood, as well as the EPA and our guest speakers.

A light breakfast will be provided.

Waste Educators Working Group session: Engaging communities around FOGO

Following the FOGO breakfast workshop, WMRR members are invited to participate a one hour Waste Educators session where a panel, including Council representatives from across NSW, will share current practice and achievements in engaging residents when implementing a new FOGO trial or service, or ongoing education practices to reduce contamination.
