ONLINE FORUM | Educating to avoid, repair, and re-use
The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia's NSW Waste Educators Working Group invites you to join them for an online forum on Monday, 30 November 2020 to discuss educating to avoid, repair, and re-use.
E
ducators can play a key role in driving the paradigm shift towards valuing materials, managing resources, and encouraging considered consumption, and it is time to home in on the top rungs of the waste management hierarchy – avoidance and reuse. Waste educators are well placed and have a significant opportunity to lead this shift in their communities.
This national forum is the first in a series of sessions that will enable educators to develop avoidance campaigns and this particular session will focus on kerbside clean-up in municipalities.
This is a free members-only event.
