WEBINAR | Driving re-use and recycling: The Welsh experience
The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) invite you to join us on Thursday, 19 November 2020 for the first of a 2-part series of webinars with WRAP.

Kicking off the series is Carl Nichols, head of WRAP Cymru, which provides Wales-specific support on behalf of the Welsh government, including the delivery of the Circular Economy Fund, sustainable procurement assistance for the public sector, the Collaborative Change Programme for local authorities, and the Wales Recycles campaign. WRAP Cymru’s work also includes UK-wide programs such as The UK Plastics Pact.  Carl will shed light on the Welsh experience in driving reuse and recycling, discussing issues such as:

  • Wales’ progress on plastics against the backdrop of the recently released Ellen Macarthur Foundation 2020 New Plastics Economy report.
  • Wales’ efforts in increasing material recovery.
  • Lessons that we could apply in Australia.
