Webinar | E-Stewardship in Australia

The Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR) invites members to join us online on Wednesday, 2 February as we kick off 2022 with a presentation from the federal government's Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment on their Stewardship for Consumer and Other Electrical and Electronic Products paper.

The discussion paper, found here, is looking for feedback from industry on ways to deal with the increasing amount of e-waste being generated in Australia each year, focusing on products not captured under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS).

In this free members-only session acting director of the department's Waste Reform and Integration Taskforce, Nick Godden, will present on the main points of the paper and take questions from attendees.  The webinar will be hosted by WMRR CEO, Gayle Sloan.
