Principal Technical Specialist - Landfill, Australian Environmental Auditors
Nick is a Principal Technical Specialist and a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) who has 19 years’ experience in landfill related technical fields gained from the Environment Agency (England & Wales), EPA Victoria and Australian Environmental Auditor’s. Nick’s experience encompasses landfill operations, landfill gas management, leachate management, landfill gas risk assessment, hydrogeological assessment, all aspects of landfill monitoring and landfill regulation. Until 2020 Nick was Principal at EPA Victoria and authored or substantially contributed to all EPA Victoria guidance from 2011 to 2020, in particular authoring the Landfill Gas Fugitive Emissions Monitoring Guidelines (EPA Publication 1684). He has also provided high-level technical advice to peak industry bodies, government agencies, environmental auditors, international parties and presented at the Sardinia International Symposium on Waste Management and Sustainable Landfilling. Nick regularly appears across Australia as an expert witness.
